My Teaching Philosophy

I have found that the most important elements of being a teacher are building a connection with each student and discovering their unique learning style. My teaching philosophy is heavily influenced by the Reggio Emilia approach to early education, where exploration and creativity are encouraged. Teaching for The Gifted Child Society taught me how to plan activities that encourage critical thinking.  I strive to help my students build creative minds and help every student shine.

When I'm not teaching, I love to spend time with my wonderful family, our two dogs and my friends.
